MILDACORO
Mildacoro exists as an island, a heart, a goddess.
An imaginary place inhabited by dreamy voices and soaring melodies.
Born from a spontaneous will, strong of the meeting between Clémence Lasme and Loïs Lazur - two artists with complementary universes - the music of the duet summons dreamed images, chimeras which escape the language.
Exploring the transitory states, at the edge between pop and experimental, Mildacoro is located in this interstice.
The obvious thing is the common ground that links the two musicians: rhythm, intuition, sensuality.
Mildacoro's music is the result of constellations of musical references, memories and utopian projections, adding a prophetic note.

After eleven years of classical training in double bass, completed by a year of jazz technique, it is with the psychedelic music of Moodoïd - which she joins in 2011 - that Clémence begins her career in the pop scene. During this tour, she learns to play the bass, as a self-taught.
Her eclectic tastes have led her to a variety of French and international artistic collaborations. Among the artists she has performed with are Pomme, Nach, Jeanne Balibar, Arnaud Rebotini, Cléa Vincent, Laura Cahen, Guillaume Léglise, Pi Ja Ma, Canine, Buvette (CH), Lisa Li-Lund (SE), Cheikh Ibra Fam (SEN), Jeremy Gustin (US)...
On stage as well as in the studio (EP recordings, albums, film music), she puts her versatile instrumental playing (double bass, bass, synths, choirs) at the service of various musical projects.
She is currently composing and recording with drummer Loïs Lazur for a duo they have set up. An EP and a live album are scheduled for release in 2024.
